Meet Ian Sherbin
Hello, I'm Ian Sherbin, Founder of Elder Family Coaching. For nearly a decade, I supported my aging parents and sister through declining health and end-of-life care. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to navigate insurance, medical, caregiving, and legal systems, while also facing the financial realities of aging and the need for proper legal documents.
Raised near Detroit, I earned a Computer Engineering degree from the University of Michigan before moving to San Francisco, where I led and coached technology teams at Google, Fitbit, and several startups. Combining my professional experience with my caregiving journey, I created Elder Family Coaching to give families practical guidance and compassionate support.
My clients receive resources, collaborative planning, and referrals to navigate housing, healthcare, finances, legal, and social matters. My goal is to help you feel informed, supported, and confident as you care for aging family.
